How to Improve Sleep In Daily Life?


Arrange regular life

The most effective way to avoid losing sleep is to arrange your life in a systematic way. Form the habit of going to bed and getting up at a fixed time, thus establish your own biological clock. Sometimes you have to sleep late for some reason, but you'd better get up in the morning still on time; Avoid having a long lazy sleep at weekends or holidays because sleep cannot be stored. It'll not help to oversleep.

Relax the mood before sleep

Do not work too much or labor with the mind during the half an hour before sleep. Even if you'll take an exam tomorrow, do not bother with a difficult problem while going to bed. Listening to soft music is very helpful before sleep.

Simplification of the bed

Make sure that the bed is only for sleep use. Do not read, make phone calls or watch TV on the bed. Because if you're up to something else on the bed, you'll often spoil the habit of sleeping at regular time.

Eat moderately before sleep

Eating some bread, cookies or dring milk if necessary could be helpful for sleep. And be careful not to eat too much. Stimulating beverages such as coffee, cola or tea are especially not good for sleep.

Alcohol does not help

Many people have the misunderstanding that drinking alcohol is a good way to help people fall asleep. Undoubtedly, people may have a sleep easily after drinking alcohol, but this kind of sleep would not last. Once the alcohol effect is gone, you could become easily awake, and find it very difficult to fall asleep again. Moreover alcohol addicts are more likely to suffer from serious asphyxiating insomnia.

Avoid sleeping pill

The insomniacs should not eat sleeping pills without the doctor's prescriptions. Even if there will be an important exam tomorrow, staying up the whole night will not necessarily affect the result.
Sleeping pills can make you go to sleep, but its side effects the next day will be harmful for both your mind and body.
